Probably being over worried but we notice from time to time that our Panther makes a small snorting noise (not the angry hiss) you can only hear it if he is sat on you but its like a small sneeze or a little out breath of air. Normal?

When my big male Veiled is just a tiny bit aggravated, he lets out these little puffs to let us know.

I sometimes hear a noise when my male veiled is shooting for a cricket, like a little exhaust sound.

I think they are getting rid of the waste from calcium and minerals through their noses. Guess thats why they are sneezing ? or am i wrong?

I would second Julirs thoughts. I have heard and seen ours do it when they are upset. For instance, if I have occasion to hand mist or to hand feed a cham (normally our misting is automatic but sometimes needs to be supplemented, and food is usually free ranged in their cage). Some will take it for a bit and then put out a tiny huff to let me know they've had enough. Are you sure he likes sitting on you/being handled? Maybe he's just letting you know he's had enough and it's time to go back to his own territory?

my veiled male has done this now and again normally when he's chilling out and i've stuck my head or hand in the cage to do somthing
