1-3 Tamatave
4. Marontsetra
5. Ambilobe or possibly Sambava

I tried my best ;)
beautiful pics either way

I could definately be mistaken... But is it me or does the 5th pic look like it's colors were electronically altered? I know chams can have very vibrant colors... and maybe it is just the way the shot is... But those colors look too "neon" to be natural. But like I said... I could be wrong.

Aside from that...As far as Locale... They all look like they are from the same part of the block to me... I won't even embarrass myself with my reckless guesses this time around.

i see what your saying, maybe just really high contrast??? if not how much is he, i want him:D

Impossible, there is not just one look per locale...and it all depends on how specific you want to get....area...city...street..lol They are all east coasters from Tamatave up to Maroantsetra. The last two are the furtherest most north chameleons.

to me it looks like its just one chameleon that he took pics of just firing up and him changing his colours,i could be wrong but i swear that its just one chameleon

They are definately not the same cham... Patterns are like fingerprints, and you can mark the differences between shots... But still ... Pic #5 is bugging me... Was this one altered to make the colors more visible or something? I have never seen a panther Glow like that before, while still keeping dull blackish areas. Did you create your own locale for the thread to mess with us?

It appears to me that he is in a shady location with a sunny perch and part of the light is blocked out making the body darker, but intense sunlight on the face and tail. I could very possibly be wrong but thats my 2 cents

Yea i agree it looks like maybe the person taking the picture or some other obstruction is casting a shadow, giving it the dark parts, but the rest is in direct sunlight

lol I was kidding... I thought it would be obvious that it's definitely not the same chameleon. I love all of the chameleons in these pictures though, very cool.

Hi,
the last animal i found in a tree 2 meters from the ozean... the light situation was so amazing that i took a lot of pics only from this animal...
for the picture i used a reflector with silver... the most cham. can see themself like a mirror and show nice colors, and also the light is great then, to make a nice picture...

well i think you need your eyes checked cause i swear there the same animal , like look at the spikes on its back there the same , it just his cham has a dramatic colour change when hes calm to fired up , im going with its the same animal
