I would like to know if using a dried dead marijuana plant for its branches would be ok?

Better to use branches that are hard woods and non sap producing. Oak is a great one or Birch. Most you can use just nothing like Pine, cedar, or Eucalyptus. I would avoid the marijuana plant.
