Hi all,
First off, apologies for what I have gathered to be one of the most cliche posts on the site, especially as my first post. I've been reading and learning from this site for over a year and have just found the need to make my first post, so, thank you for the past and future information!
I have a 1 1/2 year old Panther. He has a large cage, auto mister, all the amenities. He's been very happy with his schefflera and ficus, but the ficus hasn't survived the winter. I was in Home Depot yesterday for an unrelated project and saw this pre-potted "jungle" bundle, and the sale price lead me to throw it in the basket and figure it out later. My limited knowledge of botany told me everything looked similar to things I knew were safe, but also similar to ones I knew were toxic. I can't even positively say that's a ficus... I'll not do well in a survival scenario
I've read every list and forum and the bottom line is: I just really can't positively identify the plants I have. The tag that came with them was worthless and the plant code gave me nothing useful or concrete. Please, those who know, tell me if I'm gonna kill poor Sully with any of these! I think he'd have a blast climbing around it, but want to confirm before I start washing/re-soiling etc. THANK YOU!
