check the tab at the top "resources" for the types of plants that the forum has been found to be safe. The list is a short one give that there are probably more than just these plants that are safe. But if you want to put another plant in and are not sure, just ask the forum some one will probably be able to give you some advice.:D

Now you also said "tank". what kind of set up do you have? I a actuall glass tank? anyway, most keeper just have potted plants. I keep dendrobiums in my viv's.

Hope that helps

lol its not a tank i just use the word TANK lol its a Flexarium but i use recomended nice cocnut flooring recomended to me by a keeper and i was wondering if i could maybe plant the plants into that?

also do any of u know a good webstie that sells nice small plants? i dont want too big ones though thanks

If you are in the United states, Home Depot or walmart tend to be very reasonable when it comes to plants. I would start there. Also if your plants from Home Depot die with in a year or something like that you can take it back and exchange for new one. :D

most keepers here at the forum will not recommend any kind of substrate int he bottom of the Viv due to possiblity of causing Impaction/obstruction. But if you are going to, I am assuming that you plan to use some kind of coconut fiber stuff from you last post. You will probably not ge too much success with planting in that as it will not hold any moisture. You are much better off keeping the plants in their own pots so that you can change and move stuff around as needed. :D

Hope that helps

hey i just put together my new cage and i used the coconut bark and i wouldnt suggest it. It gets really nasty after a week or 2 with all the misting/dripping etc. and i'm pretty sure if it was left a little longer it would have molded soon. I would suggest getting a repti cage carpet(i got mine at a local petstore) but i'm sure anything would work at the bottom. The cage carpet fits in and looks nice and you can soak it in water ring it out and throw it in the dryer and reuse it.

Also I use a hibiscus and some pothos(both bought from home depot) and then got some fake vines from the walmart fake plant area. We washed everything and repotted the plants in an organic soil and he loves it :) I may be having to get a new hibiscus because he eats it all the time.

be careful with the repti carpet. It is a nice place for nasty bacteria and parasites to reside. if you do have . it is important to disinfect frequently. the best bottom liner will be no liner, the next one after that will be something you can throw away.

Hope that helps
