Live plants

Ok so in the black dome is a 60 watt spotlight bulb on a thermostat that provides the heat, the light on the left is the plant gowlight and the one on the right is a 6% UVB from Arcadia. Some people recommend puttin the UVB on the diagonal to cover more of the area.

What you have is the t5s this denotes the diameter of the bulb. These smaller bulbs apparently have better output and longevity than the older style bigger diameter bulbs. How much better they are I don't know tell me a hello kitty head torch is the best and, charge me 10x as much and i will buy it?!!!!! I'm a fool like that

In all honesty I couldn't find a a straight yes or no on the orchids, however panthers I am told are not great lovers of eating plants so I went with it.

Yes I am I found many sites that said they were fine and others that said no. So I followed the normal rules of washing the plant and cleaning the roots first

Ouu ill have to have a little look then would love some colour and I live orchids so it was would be a bonus if I could have that x

This is what ive got. Its clearly not set up yet. But I think ill be suspending them or getting blocks to give them some space between them and the cage

Ouuuu thats well pretty!! Where did you buy it from x

I think both my Schefflera came from local shops, but I expect you could find them at B&Q or homebase.......
Reminds me of a joke that went round while I was at school just after the Hull B&Q fire......

How many letters are there in the alphabet? No, 24 - B&Q just burned down! :D

Hahaha I actually laughed at that at work and everyone looked at me. Awkward.

Ive been told b&q is alot better for plants then homebase. Im super excited. Gonna check my local nursery first see how much their plants are x
