living wall in panther cage

I know some people say no but I've seen alot of living wall terrarium like panther cages. While making mine I used great stuff, added pots so I can pop plants in amd then coated it with silicone and safe organic soil. There were some bare spots so I added moss with hot glue and made sure to remove all the lose pieces. The floor will be bare and I plan on putting both ficus and umbrella plants on the bottom along with vines across it and the lights, mister and fogger needed. Will this be safe for my panther? I plan on hand and cup feeding.

I did something similar with my big DIY cage only I made the background out of styrofoam. I like all wood in your background but my cage was too big to do it that way (hard finding the right tyoe of wood in the sizes i needed).

Looks great! By the way, what is the name of the foam that you can apply in your enclosure? Some people use it, and it looks good for enclosures, especially with dragon ledges.

Looks very good. Why not make the whole enclosure bioactive? Mine is bioactive, my back wall is from Universal Rocks. Works great and I was able to avoid covering my $250 cage with great stuff. I really like the look of your wall though, great job.

I think a lot of people use Great Stuff pond and fountain (or something like that). I used a 4' x 8' sheet of Styrofoam, cut to size, added the planters, carved in the faux rock design, then covered it in caulking, and did a couple coats of paint and sealant. I'm definitely going full bioactive on my next enclosure like @Goose502 mentioned above to really make it rain forrest-y though.

@kyle0417 ....4.2 means 4males and two females. If there were three numbers such as 4.2.1 it would mean 4 males, 2 females and one that's wasn't sexed yet.

That gave me a good chuckle. I Needed that! I am familiar with those numbers due to years of snake breeding, but I forgot how many people dont know what means! Seriously, thank you, not making fun at all. Brings me back to the days when I first started keeping reptiles and I was in awe, wonderment, and confusion. I remember when I was stumped by those numbers too and asked that very same question on a cornsnake forum. Thanks again.

I was so confused about that at first as well!!! Don't worry, I don't have .2 of a Leipard Gecko!!!
