LLLReptile chameleon

I did

I got a lovely female T. quadricornis from them. She arrived in quick time, well packed, in beautiful shape.

They honestly quoted me a male who was not perfect, which I declined. I really appreciate this too.

I would be happy to do business with them again.

He bought a veiled chameleon... I don't remember exactly how old he is, but he's small almost as small as some of the babies some members here have posted pictures of.

ok so they sounds pretty good! im thinking about getting a Nosy Be or Ambanja :]

I have purchased two chameleons from LLL.... maybe three? I think just two... one died, not their issue and the other is alive and well and wonderful.

This is Lenny, the one who is still with us. I can't really give LLL credit for her health since she is a WC melleri and wasn't raised by them.... plus I did all the treatments LOL BUT, she is from LLL and if you buy WC, it is always agamble and most of the time has nothing to do with the seller, whether the animal has a healthy life. What matters is how fast you can rescue these animals before they become sick and die. Not the vendors fault, just... that is the life of a wild caught animal.

Lenny is on the left, Chris is on the right.

yea that makes sense. but would you say LLL was a good and worth purchase?

oh and Lenny looks awesome by the way :]

I shop at LLL.... so I can pick what cham I want... now would I buy from them on the net.... prolly not. and I would only buy WC chams from them to be honest.

if you are looking for good cham, search locally, there are chams on craigslist that need new homes and sometimes you find some really good deals. There are also people who breed local I am sure, who need to find chams new homes.

LLL is a great place to buy supplies.... they have nice animals and help out by purchasing wholesale from local keepers who breed..... but to be honest I would personally search for someone local or order form some of the breeders who sponsor the site.

I too can drive to LLL...I bought a chameleon from them at a show and then discovered they were just 20 minutes up the road. I honestly would not buy an animal from them that had to be shipped. I know they are a board sponsor so some degree of....subservience? I don't know the right word...is in order, but I would not have them ship an animal to me. PM me if you want more than that.

don't get me wrong I like LLL lol. but i am not a huge fan of companies selling animals. mostly because they may have good intentions, but not all give great care. It is just part of the biz... to make money. so sometimes breeders are just a better way to go. some breeders don't even make much money... they just break even. raising chams is not cheap.....

I drive about 70 miles.... i could just have them ship me supplies.. they'd come next day.... but i save up my purchases for when I go down to buy bugs.

I chose to get the $50 certificate I won last month from them. Very friendly and efficient, they responded to my several email questions all within 20mins.
