i dont think my little monty likes crickets or locast.

when i picked him up last week the breader i bought him from gave me some crickets, i didnt put any in with him when i got him home, but a few in the next day, i saw him eat around 2, but they blended in & i thought that he ate them all, so i kept given daly until yesterday when 1 bit him, so i removed them allm & there was loads in his viv - so not eating them.

today i have given him locast, but i've still not seen him eat any, i have been giving him meal worm & he loves them & will eat them as soon as they are in his viv.

is it normal for veileds to not like certain foods, just like us humans???????

he is 5 weeks old, so what else cn i give him?
he has a wax worm, & loved that too, but i have read that you can only give as treats.

superworms are better than meal worms and maybe you should try giving him roaches or silkworms or hornworms. my cham hates crickets, but loves everything that wriggles like a worm.

that is normal, try to find small superworms as mealworms arent very nutritious, waxworms become addicting to chams and are high in fat, and fruitflies are a favorite among babies.

when the crickets were given t me, they were very small, but they grew realy quick.

i have the smallest locast you can get, in ace they are quite tiny, but are very visable.

i shall go on the hunt for the superworms, silk worms & horn worms on the internet now

Oh ok just making sure they weren't too big. Locusts are extremely greedy. I just caught on trying to eat a FAKE plant in my leopard gecko enclosure. He was really tearing at it.

i've just seen monty trying to eat a plastic plant - i put some small pieces of lettuc in to his viv!

having rouble finding the superworms, slkworms & horn worms here in the uk:(

Dont forget to try fruitflies, lettuce isnt that good, try collard greens or carrots, and real plants should be used to prevent him from eating a fake one and getting blockage
