Can locust climb out of feeder cups?

They will b able to jump high! Just get their two back legs with your index finger and thumb squeeze and they wont b able to jump

If you pull the back legs off they won't be able to jump but they can crawl! Never tried cup feeding locust so not sure if they can crawl out the cup.

They can climb most plastic so yeah probably be able to crawl out, depends.. I used a sunny d bottle cut a square out and put mesh on the back for them
To crawl on but not be able to get out. I never lost any locust this way but ended up scrapping cup feeding anyway lol

I remove one of the hind jumping legs from grasshoppers. I find that's all that is required to keep them in a (somewhat large and deep) feeding bowl.
