Look at my baby

My boyfriend got him for me as an early Christmas Present and I couldn't be happier. I know Jackson's are hard to take care of, but he was the only type of Cham they had, but I couldn't help but fall in love with this lil guy that I proudly named "Fred the Ferocious Dragon". Unfortunately for my boyfriend, Fred doesn't seem to like him cause when he goes to mist or feed, Fred turns brown, however when it's me doing it then he's all green and pretty and always looking at me in all directions. I think it's kinda cute in a way. C:

He is so cite! I love jacksons...their little faces always seem to look like they are smiling! Good luck with him!

BTW...Does your boyfriend wear a lot of black or other colors that might be upsetting to chameleons? My guy reacts to the colors I wear.

Sometimes, but that lil tidbit of info will be good to remember from now on! It's been three days already and so far he's eatting, changing his colors once in a while, drinking his water, and tolerating his mist time. However so far We're doing a good job, atleast in my opinion. Though the boyfriend is worrying about him more then I do when it comes to temperature and humility. He's also more experienced in reptiles then I am since he's been around bearded dragons, an Iguana, Leopard Geckos, Anoles. A Cham seems to be a good challenge for him, and for me to. I hope he does very well!

Thank you..He's definitely something to be thankful for on Thanksgiving! Boyfriend is getting the hang of taking care of our special needs baby as I like to call him because of all the work we've been doing with him so far to make sure Fred is safe and comfortable. Lucky for me I have a super smart boyfriend who thinks of new ways to keep him comfortable but we still have a long way to go before we know for sure he's safe with his mobile trees. (us)

Best of luck raising that baby....and don't be afraid to ask anything about chams on this site, there are many very experienced people that are willing to offer a helping hand.

Hehe..It'll be worth it! He's so cute and little right now..Can't wait till he's big, green, and beautiful~ What kind of Cham do you have?
