i just rescued this gorgeous boy today. I’m so excited his markings are just so bright.

He’s very handsome. Where did you get him?

Thank you. Someone a family member knows was getting rid of him to anyone willing to take him so my family member called me and asked if I wanted to take him and I said bring him today I have space lol. He was kept in a very small enclosure with soil on the bottom and instead of a misting pump or system he had a water bowl . But the guy said he had him for a few months so i don’t know how he went this long with out a mister

Reminds me of a wildcaught veiled that made it to the states, Although this one isn't as yellow and orange. I think he was named storm. Do a search for him.

Wow reptar looks almost exactly like him with a little difference in markings. I wonder if he is wild caught. The guy brought him to me in a Petco box so he could be. I have a vet visit for him in a week to do the run down on him.

Ok so I don’t think this person was giving him any calcium at all. Is there a curtain way I should go about on trying to catch him up on it or should I just start a routine now for him like normal?

I would just stick to the normally suggested supplement schedule for veileds. plain calcium daily, D3 two per month and multivitamin twice per month.

He is so funny for the longest time as he climbed up to the top of my head he would puff up and hiss lol and I wasn’t even moving because I didn’t want to scare him. But once he got up there he was super happy and didn’t want to come down.
