Looking to buy a cham in Florida

I am currently still in the process of setting my cage up, but soon i am going to be ready for my first chameleon.
I am looking for a male veiled cham.
I would much rather support a breeder that I know will be taking good care of their animals, than to go to the usual pet stores. I also don't love the idea of have a cham shipped to me.
That being said, does anyone know of any breeders near Southwest Florida?

Welcome to the forums. It’s nice to see someone doing their research BEfORE they buy a chameleon. I’m not a breeder but from time to time I breed my pets. I am very particular about where they go but I am willing to work with a new keeper that’s willing to learn. I have a few boys left in my Amos and Fiona clutch. They just turned three months old. I’m in the FL Keys but could meet you half way or I have a friend in the Fort Myers area coming to pick up her baby in a few weeks and I could probably get her to take your baby with her, if you decided to get one from me.

I think @jannb has veileds and I'd bet they are as healthy as you'll fine. I'm pretty sure she's in FL. Message her. That said, shipping is really no problem at all. Most of us have shipped chameleons and idk anyone that's had a problem.

I very much believe in doing my research first. i take animal care pretty serious. so its refreshing to see you(and so many others on the site)that share that sentiment.
I already dived into almost all the articles on this site, so I am very excited to get started.

I would definitely be interested in having one of your chams. they look great and their family looks impressive.
I will have to message you for specifics :)
