Thats what I was thinking.

(Question for CP)
What are your temps and how many times a day do you mist/spray them?

Agreed. Poor little babies. I hope the rest are happy and healthy for ya!

I mist them three times a day, about 15 - 20 mins each time...they're out in the morning until about 11, when it hits around 80. Then mid-day, I bring 'em in to my living room, although I'm thinking it might just be cooler in the patio, where it's shady and cool

It looks like they are too hot....that's what i think. Just keep them indoors with the proper lighting and heat temps if you don't want more to pass on you.

Okay thanks, will do just that. Pretty sure I'm gna lose one more by the end of the day :( but the other 18 are all looking active and healthy. If I can manage to keep them alive, I won't feel like an entire failure :p

Whats the soil in that plant?? It looks like its the same soil that came with the plant. It may not be organic and should be taken out ASAP if it has not. Also are you sure the plant has no pesticides? I am not saying this is the problem as you lost one before the plant but it could lead to more problems. They sell a lot of plants out here with some kind of pesticides. You need to replant it in some organic soil, wash the plant really good and then cover the soil with some rocks.

I agree he looks dehydrated. do you have a dripper running all day? You need to have a dripper dripping on a leaf or something and they will learn where the water is. I agree I would keep them inside for now as it has been hot here lately. I have been keeping the temps down in my cage that is outside by them getting misted about once an hour and they are in shade always with a UVB bulb and no basking bulb. You really need to monitor the temps and make sure it does not get more than 80 to 82 at the most. And bro you are not a failure, it is very hard raising these little guys I can only imagine as you have double the amount I do.

I have an extra temp guage if you need it. Just let me know so I can get it to you ASAP. I agree that I think its the temp that is hurting them.

ChamBust where are you located? Even if the outside temp is 80 f, the cage can be a lot hotter. You have something under them reflecting heat back at the babies. I would keep them inside, not let the sunshine on them, make sure they are misted weoo and put a dripper on them all day. The sun shining through glass adds only heat, uvb does not pass through glass or plastic. I agree you need to take care of washing the soil and covering the rocks.

He has a screen cage for them but outside even in the shade here has been quite warm. Babies are especially delicate when it comes to heat. Oh and he is located here in Hawaii.

First off, I'm sorry for your losses :( never easy losing a Cham especially a baby. Second i hope you have an easy time fixing your temperature situation, it's been real hot out here in Hawaii Kai as well but I'm lucky enough to have mine housed in my room. Best of luck to you!
