So earlier today I was hand feeding my sorta baby Veild and he bit me on accident, as an instant reaction, I pulled back. I had no control.... It frightened him and now when I try to hand feed him, he either puffs up and hisses or hesitate. What should I do? I really want my old chammy self back..

just give him some time to calm down and take it easy with him for the next few days, I think he will be back to his regular self in no time.

Agreed give him some time and then try hand feeding again. If he can bite you when hand feeding your hand might be a little close. I would keep your hand farther away so this doesn't happen again.

How are you hand feeding? You hold a bug several inches away so s/he shoots his/her tongue. You shouldn't be anywhere near the mouth.
