It's been a little over three months since Lottie was unable to lay her eggs and Dr. Mader preformed surgery to remove the eggs and her ovaries. She seems to be doing really well. Her colors are vibrant and she's active just like when she's receptive. I was wondering if they still become receptive after being spayed? I guess I need to ask Dr. Mader. I am so thankful that he was able to save Lottie and give me more precious time with her. As most of you know chameleons are quite fragile and allot of them don't handle surgery very well.
Here's some new photos of Lottie made in our backyard yesterday. She has a bit of shed on her.
Lottie has a frown face on her side just like her grandmother, great grandmother and Aunt Sadie did.
I like the letter Y's on her tail. She has them all the way down even though you can't see them in this picture.
