I have got a UVB light in there what kind are you talking about?
I also have a UVA and a basking light?
Hi. It appears that you have a screw in uvb bulb, which isn’t able to provide adequate uvb levels any farther away than 2”. The standard is a linear T5 with either a ReptiSun 5.0 or Arcadia 6% uvb bulb. This provides the levels of uvb that chameleons need at about 8-9” away and in a much greater variant. Adding a graphic which will demonstrate. Sadly, the screw in bulbs are one of the major contributing factors to chameleons getting mbd.
In this graphic, you have the first light, which as you can see has almost no range. You want the 5th one, which is the ideal.

You have reptisun compact 5.0. You need linear reptisun 5.0 T5HO.
