Lucy's new habitat

Lucy quickly out grew the enclosure I had her in, so when one of my students saw me looking at chameleon cages online at school she offered up the one laying around in her garage for $20. It had a few holes in the screen, so I re-screened all 5 sides with new screen. Lucy seems much happier an active in her new home. What does everyone think?

Thanks for the kind words! There is a ficus tree in there, a Schefflera , and a pothos. Since I live in the PNW there is no shortage of moss, so I clipped off a few moss covered branches while hiking the other day. I hat the way potted plants look so I found some hollowed out stumps and placed the potted plants inside them for a more natural look.

I live in the Covington up HWY 18, just remember you can introduce pests when using untreated moss/wood. Collect some Madrone its hard wood thats easily cleaned and has s smooth surface that looks amazing..

Nice job, the new cage looks like there is lots to climb around on. But yet it is not crowded. Seems like chameleons get nervous quite easily when the cage is too small. Larger cages make happier pets.
