The babies will be two weeks old tomorrow. They are growing so fast. I think I have 11 females and 15 males. They are so cute and so friendly. They definitely have mom and dad's personalities.

Jann, Lee is here and we both are loving the pictures of the babies. Your work with the camera is just fantastic, the pictures jump off the page. The expressions on those little faces are priceless. Makes me want to play with them and squeeze the little dolls.

Jannb,

Great photos. Love the babies.
Keep posting pics please.
I so miss having a baby in the house...remember when my Splat was just a little thing? Lol
Now he's a monster.

Great job Jann. Keep it up.

just wondering,, after the eggs are laid do the mom and pop have anything to do with the eggs? what would their reaction be if they "encountered" one of the babies?

I see one little one has mastered the cham karate chop pose :D

Jann they are absolutely gorgeous...you are doing a wonderful job :)

Thanks guys. They are all just so sweet. I can not wait for my work to be over and to stay home with them. I will have them all spoiled rotten. :D:D:D

You have the greenest collection of veileds I've ever seen - like little emeralds. It'll be fun to see how their colors develop as they grow, and if this rich green portends Luie's turquoise.

After the egg laying the mom has nothing else to do with the eggs or the babies. In fact she would eat them now if she got a chance. Luie is way more laid back that Camille but I wouldn't even trust him with a baby. I often see him in his big free range on the back porch basking with a little brown anole from the yard just sitting on the branch next to him and he doesn't bother them. Camille will hunt them down. I've caught her eating one before.

Thank you everyone for all of your nice comments.

Great pics - you should enter some in the comp. The babies are just so adorable, they look like butter wouldn`t melt :D As usual Luie looks his magnificent self, he`s such a handsome boy. :D
