I bought a dripper on the way home from work last night and tried him on it this morning. He started drinking after I dripped a drop on his nose. He Drank two drippers full of water before he was done.
5 Minutes of dripper watering from my hand beats 15 minutes of spraying to get him to drink. He still has a dripper running all day long, though.

martyllian, you still need to mist at least twice a day.
Jo, you are so right. Luie continued to drink for awhile even after my husband stopped the video. He had another long drink like that this morning and so did Camille. I don't know how these guys could ever get enought water from licking leaves. Misting and dripping is vital for the health of these animals plus even extra water if you can. If offered most will drink via a dropper or baster. You just have to be very careful to drip extra slow so you will not aspirate.

I still mist, but 15 minutes of spraying in the morning was getting insane. I always felt I was drowning his cage. Humidity was getting to 100% in there , after 5 minutes,(it stays around 50-70 most of the time) but he would not start drinking for about 15 minutes. Id much rather hand water him in the morning, then mist, go to work, mist when I get home as well.
My arm will like it, that is for sure. I forgot to mention, not a drop of water went to waste. I let him take the drops from the pretty good sized dropper.

this video reminds me of jack, he used to do this, i agree, hard to believe that they can get enough water just from the leaves with spraying.......very handsome cham

ive been trying to get my cham to drink from a bottle since i think shes not getting enough water. besides misting and a dripper, ive been offering her a hamster dripper with a soft plastic tube i attached so she doesnt damage her teeth on the metal. but she attacks it furiously and she ends up getting her tounge caught by the suction from the tube ill need a smaller opening so it doesnt catch her tounge. i wish she would be more gentle like luie and lap at it.
(i also love that commercial going on in the background, "moms who wear jeans to match their teens jeans" lol)
