Purchased as baby 11/4/18.
Not sure if it is a male or a female...

I read that too much phosphorous and or vitamin A could cause some swelling esp on organs and potentially on females carrying. However, not sure this one is old enough to carry if is a female.

I will cut out daily vitamin dusting and stick with minute cal d3.

Any thoughts on what the lump may be?

After reading a lot of articles.. I plan to cut down on the amount of insects I am feeding as well as dust once a week alternating cal d3 two weeks to every one of vitamins.
So, not sure what to make of it all. This evening I didn’t notice the lump, but am keeping close eye on it. See picture.

I have had Magma since 11/4/18. The housing I currently use is a 18x18x24” glass vivarium. One Daylite Blue 45w ina dual fixture with a 60w ceramic heat element. One 18” reptisun tube for tropical animals.
I feed Magma a mixture of Dubai roaches and crickets. I guy load the Dubai with banana peels, oranges and acorn squash. The crickets get a formulated food found at local pet stores and calcium fortified water gels. I dust the food every time with either cal d3 or vitamins but not together. Last few days I’ve done strictly vitamins. Magma eats around 3 Dubai and 3 crickets a day. Or 5-7 crickets or Dubai. I try to alternate or combine crickets and Dubai. Magma was eating fruit flies regularly, 25-50 a day, for about one month along with a few crickets per week.
There are two ficus planted in an organic soil and three 4” pots with pothos also in the same organic soil. I hand must the foliage every morning and once in the evening. I see Magma lapping droplets from the leaves each time misting is applied. There is a humidifier which sits a foot or so in front of the house and will run periodically throughout the day.
The house is placed south facing beneath a window and gets partial sun each morning.
Humidity stays between 45-70 throughout the day. Temperature stays above 65 at night. And is 75 in the middle zone and 95-100 beneath the heating element.
Stool is dark brown with 1/5 to no less than 1/8 white. Regular. Every day.
I attempt to handle Magma every day but rarely, if ever, has it freely walked into my hand or fingers.

I highly recommend making your own gut load. Most of the store bought ones are good for your crickets but do nothing for your chameleon.
I'm not sure the age of your Cham but I think your basking is to hot for her age.

Agree with above^ A fresh, home made, and well balanced gutload is best but if that’s not for you Cricket Crack and Bug Burger are two commercially available gut loads that can satisfy all your gutloading requirements. I’ve used them both.

well the lump could be a number of things which is why she needs a vet but to me it looks like an abscess
