Hey there everyone, aquired a female jacksons about 2 weeks ago. She has this odd lump on her foot. It doesn't seem to impair her climbing or grasping ability. She has a firm grip which I know is good. She eats like a horse too. I know some chams store fat around their legs but I'm not sure if jacksons do. Anyone ever have this experience with their chams? May be difficult to see in the pic but it's a decent size.

It is likely an abscess which should be cleaned out and treated with antibiotics before the infection spreads to her bones.
Knowing that you plan to breed her, please don't breed her until after she has fully recovered.
You don't want medical procedures to be done on a gravid cham.

BTW as far as breeding Jackson's goes, be aware that it is not a moneymaking proposition.
It will cost you far more for feeders, electricity and enclosures than you will receive for your chams' babies.
Additionally, Jackson's females can and do retain sperm from a single mating. What happens is that you may have 20 babies the first time and then 6 or 7 months later, you get another 20 or 30 to raise--even though she was only mated once.
It is not something to do without very serious forethought.

Thanks a bunch! Appreciate the help. That was the plan anyway before I bred her. Want her nice and healthy. Not looking to make any profit on it. Just a hobby I want to try. I've bred many other herps, just not chams. Thanks again!
