It looks like that Madagascar shipments are starting to arrive! Anybody going to be getting anything cool? /grumble> I have yet to find a importer to sell me Carpets for breeding projects for less then the $80-100 retail… Awwww maybe next year when I have more cash saved I can let money do the talking for me. /end grumble>

Yes! Been seeing them the last few days and of course no giant carpets for me, so far... Did you see the "Adult Ambanja Panthers " with black bars?

It would be cool to get a new morph this year. I'd still LOVE to see some Nosy Tanikely come in. Animals from around Joffreville would probably be easy too, and provide a little variety to what we see in the US.

Yea, I have been looking out for carpets of any sort... I really wana get a group of them going!!! I did see the 'new' ambanja, odd... I would too like to see some new morphs! Kinda like a craps shoot... Just gotta see what lands!

Each year 2000 specimens of each of the four legal species may be exported from Madagascar. Usually each year's quota of animals are issued permits and start coming in around now. Hence the excitement

The most common place to find listings is Kingsnake.com in the classified section. Other info comes from e-mail listings.

That same company has been running an advert for carpets also. Seems they may have a limit to how many ads they can run and so rotate them. Might be worth an email at least.

Wild caught specimen for me is too much trouble.... usually have to take care of parasitic infections....possibly stressed animal... i prefer CB. .

True. I also prefer CB critters but sometimes you gotta go Wc to get something thats not too often available.
