to those who responded and read my earlier thread about how to hold a veiled cham-- I am so proud of blue my female veiled chameleon because today I held her for the very first time!! she is my first reptile and chameleon so I was very happy to finally break the ice and hold her so we can bond and become comfortable around eachother. when I am around she roams in and out of her cage as she pleases and today I worked very hard after she climbed out to offer my hand and it took lots of time but eventually she willingly crawled onto my hand!! she wasn't puffed up at all and looked at ease and at her natural colors. I just thought I would share my experience with you all.
