male/female?

Hello! I know you all must hate these "is it a girl or boy?" posts, but I'd really appreciate any input :D I acquired these two panther chams about 3 weeks ago and have learned so much from this forum (thanks!). They were sold to me as 5 month old male (ambanja) and female (sambava). However, I think they may be younger than 5 months -- they are 3-4 inches snout to vent.

From what I have read you can sex them based on the way their tail tapers, so I tried to get pics at the right angle. The "female" is very shy so I could only get one pic, and the "male" didn't like the camera much either. The "male" is #1, the "female" is #2.

Please let me know what you think, and if I need to get better/different pictures. Thanks!!

Thanks for the quick reply SSimsswiSS:) The "male" has a more reddish/brown hue when he's not mad at me for taking his picture...so it got me thinking he was maybe a she. Not that it would really matter either way, I'm just curious.
