Just a couple of shots of my male Jackson's, Trident.

Here he is, around 2-3 months old. Can't believe how small!

And here he is more recently, basking. Around 16 months old now.

Thanks! I usually go the way of myths/gods etc in my reptiles and thought it was pretty fitting! Some people when they ask his name go "like the gum??" and I just laugh at them.

Awww, Trident is a handsome boy! I also have a Jackson boy who is now almost 17 months and he is the sweetest, most laid back chameleon! I love Jacksons as they all seem so placid and nice natured.

Yep! Trident just walks right up to me to be held and he just hangs out if I'm watching TV.

Excellent stuff, he looks great.....I'll be getting a little Jacksons, hopefully some time this year :)

Aww, they are so sweet! My Monty is like a tiny green puppy - when I get home from work and go say 'Hi' to him, he comes right to the front of his cage to see me! :D

Seiryu, in your picture it looks like trouble brewing in his temporal gland.
It appears to be very swollen.
For others who might be reading who don't know Jackson's, they have a temporal gland in each corner of their mouth, where the jaw hinges.
It is not uncommon for temporal glands to become infected.

Good eye Kate. I agree something's looks to be going on there.

To the OP can you tell us what your feeding him?

Hello, thanks for bringing it to my attention. I hadn't even noticed it until you said something. He is just swollen on his right side, not his left after looking at him.

He eats 1/2-5/8" dubia (which he chews great) and then he also gets Hornworms and Silkworms.

He wasn't swollen a week ago, as looking back at pictures I took. He wasn't in those.

Have to call my reptile vet, hope she's in today!
