Male or Female Ambanja

Ok. So this cham has me stumped. The colour in the pic is the usual but the cham does go lighter almost a white/pink. Everyone says they don't see pink when they look in the enclosure they say it's a light blue but maybe it's the UVB light fooling them. To me I see pink. I need some others to confirm if this is indeed a female. Thanks for your help.

can you get another pics of her like in the 2nd one you have for 1% assurance? (a profile with her tail parallel to the vine -not curling down like the first pic)

Hmm. My first instinct tells me it's male. I think I see some sort of buldge forming at the base of the tail. But 2 people say female, so could very well be female.

LOL. Are you talking about the 1st pick on the finger? I'm actually looking at the tail only. From the vent or cloaca to the first part of the tail, looks like a bulge is forming. Well at least to me that is. 2 other posters (who have more experience than me) have said female so it probably could be female.

Note: When I read your post, I was confused until I looked at the pics again. The first one made me laugh. =)

I would say that dude is a male. The tail base looks a little to thick to be female.

i have been pretty successful in the past at judging male or female(maybe just lucky), and the tail looks a little thick, but i still would say that looks like a little girl, either way, good looking chameleon. What were you hoping it would be?

Thanks for the replies. I was hoping male. Yeah it's a beauty. Can't wait until it comes into it's colors. So it seems to be a mixed reviews. Good to know I'm not the only one..lol. Either way it is a beauty and will love having it. I will try to get some 360 degree pics tomorrow and maybe this will help. Again thanks.
