You'd really need to wait until it is 3-4 months old before the colors will start to come in. A male will have the bright colors, which are dependent on which locale he comes from, and a female will have a peachy color with black stripes/spots, or vice versa depending on the locale. Also, when they get older, there will be a small bump under the tail if it's male.
