Male or Female Nosy Be? I have no clue.

OK so I just got my first Panther Cham about a week ago from Kilgour's Chameleons. He/She is a Nosy be and a little over 3 months old. Tom told me the Cham was a she but when I went to pick "her" up he was starting to think that she was a he. I am seeing some blues coming is here and there, they are really faint, I know that doesn't mean it is a male but Tom actually pointed it out to me when I picked the baby up. For some reason the the camera doesn't seem to be picking these colorations up though? Anyway, thought maybe I would throw a picture up and get some feedback from everyone. It's driving me nuts not knowing for sure. I tried using the vent method of sexing?, but I just don't have that keen of an eye I guess. Sorry I could not get a better side view for that but I was freaking the baby out with the camera so I backed off.
Well, let the debate begin! LOL!
Thanks everyone!

tough to tell because of how small, but her stripes look more female then male. Many male panthers have white clown lips.

I am still leaning towards a male. For the chams entire life I truly thought it was female. However, on the day you came to pick him up, he looked totally male. I told you I was beginning to think he was a male and now I am still pretty certain. :) The pic still makes it hard to tell. The sex could go either way until we see a nice shot of the tail base.

LOL! Hey Tom! Looks like the jury is split on this one huh? Oh well. I guess we'll know for sure here in another couple months?

Snag a few more pix of straight on side shot with the tail base in it. Im certain its a male from that first pic though. They arent that hard to sex:cool:

Jared is the MAN and knows his stuff!!!! :D He is one of my pals here on the forum, for sure. These panthers are typically not hard to sex, but this one must be a cross dresser or something. I swear since day one he/she was female. The customer wanted a male, but I told him I had a female. However, after getting him ready I decided he was male. Then when I brought the cham up and got him ready for pick up, he suddenly looked male and seemed to have a bulge. I told the customer that I am positive he is male, and that pic makes him almost look male too. I would like to see clear pics of the tail base and I will give you a definite answer. Like Jared said, these are not that hard to sex geez. Every once in a while you get one that can't decide what sex they want to be. LOL.

Coloration looks female to me. But looking at that tail base it looks too thick and tapered to be female from that angle. Im leaning towards male until we can get a better side view to certain.;)

Color has been throwing me off from the beginning. However, I swear that tail base has developed a bulge in the past month. So that is why I am leaning towards a male. This was one hard panther to sex. :D

I think the coloration looks male but better pics of the side profile would help. Tom is right, there are the few that just keep throwing you off. Ive noticed its usually your first instinct is right.

Need more pics!!!!!:D

Crap! Sorry guys I'll have to get that pic tomorrow. I just now got home and he/she is bedded down for the night.

It's a female I'm sure of it! BTW I'm always 100% backwards

Looks like I have a sibling from this lil guy, I'm having the same issue! Looks male most of the time, but is a slow developer and looks female when he basks...

Glad to hear about a sibling having a similar issue!
