Male or female? Panther chameleon

I bought this little guy yesterday and my gut instinct thought he was a male. I keep second guessing myself now though. Adding extra pictures for fun because I think he looks amazing I'm so happy to be apart of this community again.

Also any guesses on age I'd appreciate!

I feel the same way. I'll genuinely be happy either way but the pictures kept washing out the color. When I opened the cage this morning it had more greens and blues than I'd ever seen on a female. But that's why I'm asking! Figure see what everyone says and then see as it gets older. I think it's only 2.5-3 months right now .

I kinda want to say male. BUT it's still a young age to distinguish their colors, like I first started seeing my little guy's colors at 5 mo - 6 mo. I'm not at a definite sex though

I was just thinking female because the tail base does not really have any bulge at this point, but on a second look it definitely could be male.

My guess is male. The last two pictures, I swear I see a little bit of a curvature to the tail base that would indicate a male.

But are we all going to IGNORE THE FACT that this little one is curled up in a corner of a box?! IT made me so sad! This guy needs branches to cling to! It reminded me of a sad puppy in a box!

The picture does look very sad but I am guessing this was the un-boxing photo upon arrival. At least I hope .

Too bad panthers don't have the same spur as yemen. These questions would be so much easier to answer. haha. I would guess girl but I am very new at this still so take it with a grain of salt.

Thanks! And young, we think only about 3 months based on size. When he started getting all blue and green today I was a little giddy to finally start feeling confident in the gender lol .
