Male or female

bunch of softies why dose it have purple on the translucent part and it it’s a female why during the day it has translucent stripes and a big bulge for 4 months

The purple is just part of her coloring from the translucent gene I suppose. I think her little feet are cute. I’d happily take her off your hands in a quick minute if you’re in or near Florida.
 
Why y'all assuming its' gender? Maybe it's doesn't associate as male or female. :oops: :D

My intention is not to derail the thread, so I'll say this once and bow out. Biological sex =/= gender. Even if this cham identified as a man (which is unlikely given that gender is a human construct given how we are more social as a species, but who knows what goes on in their minds, lol), it would still lay eggs, which is definitely a part of care that OP would have to consider. I do understand why folks prefer to buy males because females have specific care needs regarding eggs and diet, but once an animal is already in my care it would be harder to part from, IMHO. I am definitely a softie, though. :)
