I recently purchased my 6 month old male Veiled Chameleon, and when I bought him he was a more dark green almost on the gray side which I'm assuming is his relaxed tone, but since I've had him he has been bright yellow and blue almost all the time should I be worried?

He looks gorgeous. As long as he's not seeing another chameleon, a mirror or anything that would cause him to fire up then he should be fine. When fired up they are usually more colorful and have their chin puffed up allot more. In the picture when you frist got him he looks stressed. It probably took him a while to get settled in and fill comfortable. My veileds usually show their bright happy colors.

It would probally help if you didn't hold him upto a mirror like shown above, other then that he looks fine.

He's beautiful.

He looks healthy to me. It's perfectly normal to see a range of colors. Overall color can be influenced by temperature or mood. When he goes dark it could just be that he's trying to warm up by absorbing more light. With time you'll get to know his colors and postures.

He looks healthy, and happy!sometimes with chams if they get darker colours it a sign that there stressed or uncommfortable with surroundings
