Male Veiled will not move

I built my male veiled cham a new home and two days after he was put in it he stopped moving, like he has no use of his legs.
He still drinks water, not too sure if he'll eat.
He still looks heathy, not discolored or anything. He just wont move.

The cage is about 2X3X4 with screen sides.
live plants: golden pothos, and a ficus.
one 100W UV bulb and a 75W heat bulb.

His name is Mr. Tims, hes about 2 years old, i feed him probably about 4-6 crickets throughout the day, i mist the cage with warm water twice a day. crickets are gut loaded, as well as calcium and multivitamin dusted (fluctuate between once a week and once every other week).

the only conclusions i can come to is that the store i got the plants from put pesticides in the plants and i didn't let them sit out enough for it to clear out

or

i found spiders in the plants and fear he may have gotten bitten as he tried to eat one.

right now we have him isolated in a spare room where the temperature is kept at 80 degrees, and i periodically go and give him water

I'm really sorry to hear about your cham. Would you mind filling out the "How to ask for Help" sticky in the health clinic forum? It would give us a more round idea of what the problem may be.

If you could post pics that would be good. Also, as Chellia said, please fill out that How to Ask for Help form.

Sometimes inactivity means illness, but that wouldn't be my first guess. First thing is to check for feces to see if he's eating (or watching him eat). If he's not eating, and you're sure of it, then that in itself is it's own problem to handle.

Welcome to the forum!
I'm very sorry that your cham is having problems.

You may be right about the pesticides or it might be something else that is called MBD or simply an impaction.
With more info, we may be able to help you to help Mr. Tims.

Do you use calcium without vitamin D3 on most feedings or have you only been using calcium 2x to 4x a month?

Has Mr. Tims pooped in the past few days?

Is the screening aluminum window screening or is it galvanized, like hardware cloth?
Is the cage wood framed or aluminum framed?

I will also second the suggestion of cutting and pasting the questions from here and then adding all of your answers.
The more info you provide, the better the quality the replies can be.

Hopefully, it isn't poisoning and we can help you figure out what needs to be done to help him.

i know all about MBD and thats not the case. i have both the calcium supplements with and without D3, i tend to use the one without it, read somehwere you dont want to give them too much. and his last movement looked exactly how its supposed to. everything was fine up until day or two after we put him in his new home. he still has movement in his feet and his neck down to his tail. he just wont move his legs. allthough he seems to be slowly regaining movement since we took him out. ill try to post pics of him and the cage soon, and fill that help thing out.

ive also read that spider venom can cause paralysis in any type of reptile, cant find anything about side affects from pesticides other than they can cause uri's.
the cage is wood framed, im not sure about the screen, its the same screen we used to build his last cage and he was in that one for a year without this happening.

Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - veiled, male, about 2 years, had him for most of that 2 years
Handling - little to none, they stress easy, and he bites hard
Feeding - feed him crickets and meal worms. the crickets are gut loaded with the flukers cricket calcium diet. i also dust them (try to at least once a week). i feed him between 2-4 crickets twice a day
Supplements - rep-cal multivitamin, and calcium. calcium supp. at least once a week, multi vit. once every other week
Watering - have a 1 gal mister i fill with warm water, i also use a chemical neutralizer
Fecal Description - brown and white, solid. never tested for parasites
History -bought him from petco, thats about it
Cage Info:
Cage Type - wood frame, about 2X3X4 has screen door and sides
Lighting - dont remember brands, but i have a 100W UV bulb that does NOT emit heat. and a separate 75W heat bulb
Temperature - temp in the middle of the cage fluctuates between 75 and 80 degrees F. basking spot may be a little warmer than 80 but not by much. also the heat lamp stays on so its between 75-80 over night
Humidity - humidity stays up around 70, drops down to about 40 as the water dries up. i mist him twice a day right after both feeding times
Plants - golden pothos and a ficus
Placement - cage is in my room close to the door
Location - south eastern washington
Current Problem - veiled will not move his legs, doesnt seem like he can

Is it possible he fell at some point? It seems strange that he would be able to move everything but his legs. He still curls his tail? Does he even move his legs if you pick him up?

I'm not sure what effect spider venom would have but it seems strange that it would only effect his legs. Also if his spine was bruised or broken I would think it would prevent him from moving his tail..

Pictures would definitely help. Do you replace the UVB bulb every 6 months?

and yes i believe he fell, my dad said he found him at the bottom of the cage. he wasnt moving before that though. and this wasnt a downward spiral of decreasing health. it was one day he was perfectly fine, the next he was like this
