But since she is about a year, I would get a lay bin ready and in her enclosure because it could be anytime.

Shedding should only take a couple of days but I don't think that plays a part in laying either way.

I know that there are quite a few threads on here from members who have recorded their females laying event from beginning to end so I would do a search for "laying" and just start reading and looking through the pictures of what gravid colors look like and how long it took them between showing gravid colors and when they actually laid. That way you know what to look for and what to do.
