Mantis I.D. please

I caught this guy in my light trap.
It's about a half inch long. This thing can fly better than a house fly.

Its a Mantisfly (Family Mantispidae).

Chris, do they use their pincers like a mantis? They are a cool little bug. I bet my chameleons would like some of those. Lol.

Oh, the pictures in that link would make me never go near one. It looks like a giant wasp with a mantis head and forearms. Scary.

I picked up by the wings thinking it was a mayfly untill it turned around and tried to bite me
