He is very nice!!! However if he is a wildcaught then i would lean a lot more towards him being a Nosy Boraha do to his solid reds and whites.
I got him at the Sacramento Show couple of weeks ago.he looks awesome, where did you get this guy?
I'll post some this weekend.. How old is yours? Mine is 7.5 right now
I would say mine is around 8months, I saw another younger juvie which was around 6 months, which I also wanted to get.

If i make room, i may be able to get a female.. I just need to take care of my 67 baby veileds and the 53 ambanjas that should hatch early next year.
I don't really post pics but this guy has me going crazy for him. I can't take my eyes off him. I love his colors and can't wait until he reaches full maturity. Hope you like him.
You have no clue what nosy boraha looks like, do you? Way off on that statement my friend. That is a masoala. Nosy borahas are not red, they are more of a marroon. Their barring consists of an almost w shape. They also font have a yellowish tint as masoalas and other chams from that area do.
This is a nosy boraha..no comparison:

I understand what you are saying but i have to state a few things as well. First off genius, marroon is a shade of red. Second off, please do not forget that they are panther chameleons and just because they are from a certain region, that does not entitle them to a certain barring such as the w shape or coloration.. Hence the reason why i never said that the cham is a nosy boraha, i said it leans closer to one than a masoala. The matter of the fact is that even the link you used to show me a nosy baraha, contains a picture of a nosy baraha with u bar instead of your stated "w shape" bar. As for the yellowish tint, i am not arguing against that, but please tell me where you see that tint in the chameleon you posted up in your link (that is an obvious Nosy Boraha). The only thing that pushes me away from thinking this chameleon might be a nosy boraha is that a typical nosy boraha portrays a ton of white while this chameleon is mostly redish with a good amount of white. Though not always the case, Masoalas tend have a little more greens and oranges which i dont see in this chameleon.
O.P- This chameleon you have is stunning....He is going to make a killer breeder one day.

Thanks for the compliments...I somehow knew the Maosala v N. Boraha issue would come up since both are rare locales, however, I don't think Borahas have been brought into the US unless I'm wrong. If anyone out there has a Masoala they should share them maybe in this thread so we can all see different variations. I really wish weather wasn't this cold so that I could see what he looks like under natural sunlight.
