Matschiei & Balteatus who?

Uthmoelleris are so cool in so many ways. Im sorry but, Im obsessed with these amazing little kinyongia:) I have a feeling that in the wild this species lives high up in the trees, they use their tails much more then any of my other species. They are constantly on the move, always hungry, always wanna climb onto my hand, and are always changing their colors throughout the day. They have such a wide array of color combos, it really is incredible. Too bad its just about impossible to get them in and even harder to get them to breed or raise their young, and all the females die. Hope you enjoy the pics...

Look at that tail!

Fantastic images. I didn't realize that uthmoelleris were that small or that they had such amazingly long tails. Very cool.

Beautiful colors (and quite the tail...)! If they were as big as a Matschiei, I'd get one in a second...;)

I wish I still had my female:((( now that Tanzania is closed down for export, I dont think my chances are very good at getting another...

No wonder why you like that species so much! ;) I truely hope that some day you will find some new females!! :S

Really nice male you have there. I dont think you should give up on importing them Im sure you will get it right sometime, but dont get just one female, get a few of them.

I wont give up on them but, when Tanzania is closed down it makes things difficult, and I only had one pair to choose from (thats all that was imported). I didnt even need the other male with her because I already have another adult male.
