Looks like a wolf spider. I have seen veiled chameleons eat them.

Looks like some of the ones I feed off. When I feed spiders I dont feed off big ones. I use ones that will be very easy to handle for the cham.

Almost sure it's a wolf spider. Yummy (but don't feed very many wc ungutloaded things of course)

wolf spider, but not sure why people feed them off because their bites are venomous, very painful to humans, possibly fatal to smaller creatures like chameleons.

Well, there are thousands of species of 'wolf spider'. I think all spiders are venomous to some degree. In England they can't hurt people at all - This one is almost certainly harmless, even to a chameleon.

Ive never had a problem feeding spiders. I feed them all the time to adults and newly hatched animals. Been doing it for years.
