McLovin's Jungle...

Okay today I went to Lowe's and could have spent all day and my entire bankroll!
But here's what I ended up getting and it worked out great...

Hibiscus x 3 (18"ers for $4.99)
Ficus Benjamina x 2 (2 footers for $9.99)
Scheflerra x 1 (last one they had 1.5' for$9.99)

Here is a pic of their enclosures... they are separated by a divider. I have 2 of the other hibiscus in with Caddie my female Veiled but it is hard to take pics through the Reptarium screen. It took my entire bag of organic soil repotting them. But they loved it.

I took each of them out one at a time on their hanging Pothos and let them kick it in the shower while Julia (my Lady) kept an eye on them, and I set up their new jungles. They came out into their new layout and went nuts... they are LOVING all the new foliage. I gave it a good mist and they explored for hours! In case you didn't see it before how it came when I got them last weekend, Each side only had the ropes and one Large hanging Pothos... and here is how it is set up now...

Those vivs look excellent! It will be nice when the plant grow up to the top more too....I bet they are really enjoying all that climbing

Thanks! Yeah I can't wait for them to grow... But I seem to have issues with portions of the plant dying if they are near the lights at the top. The problem is ...aside from the hibiscus... Every plant there is pretty much indoor, So direct heat and UV kills them...at least for me.

I find that, especially with the schleffera. Vivs look nice and speacious though, so let the plants do what they want

if it was me, i'd take a few of those pothos vines and wrap them around the rope

The chameleon is on the left side of the ficus, half way down by the rope that runs down the middle. You can see the eye staring back at you.

That's Her!!! Peeking her little head out. Nice Spot Jordan... After I confirmed that it was her I asked Julia if she could find her and it took her about 30 secs... Then she just laughed and said men are just bad at looking for things.
I hear it all the time.

Dank: Nice suggestions about the vines... I pulled them up and it added a lot of green and more climbing to the top area. Thanks Man!.... By the way..How is that male Veiled your advertising doing? Have you mated him to anyone yet? I am curious to know how that guy is with the Ladies. I've been contemplating hitting you up for him and that juvie female.

i have not mated him because the female is a bit too small but since she's arrived he's def increased in activity pacing around his cage trying to get across the pool to her.

I just lowered his price 25 dollars, but i'm not so sure i'm going to sell the female, probably going to mate her with my lil guys when ready, it will be nice having a female that is slightly more progressed than the male, instead of the other way around
