so i was hanging out with kiko (my cham) and noticed he kept pulling his eye in. chams sometimes do this to clean their eyes, but i notices that there was a beetle in his enclosure i picked it up and it sprayed some nasty smelling stuff at my hand, its been in there a couple of days now since i noticed kiko doin the eye thing. could this be the cause maybe he got sprayed in the eye trying to eat it or something???

i since then took the beetle out and threw it in the pool...
if it doesnt get better soon im thinking vet but im hoping it will get better with the beetle out?
any one have any suggestions?
and before i have to fill out everything. i havent changes anything i his enclosure everything is normal and as it should be.

if any1 has experienced anything like this or could shine some light on the situation i would appreciate it

If the beetle squirted him in the eye, I would suggest getting some plain saline and try putting a drop or two in the affected eye. this might be able to help clear out whatever is in it that could be irritating it.
You can get some plain saline from a drug store, just like the stuff we use for our eyes. just read the ingredients and make sure it says saline. and only saline.
Good luck

it seems that his eye is all better now havent seen him do it today at all. i usually always cup feed him everything. one must of gotten away. thanks for the suggestions. and for any1 else who is feeding mealworn beetles keep an eye out for your little guys.

i guess you learn something new everyday :D
