Mealworm size?

Hi all. My husband bought me some mealworms that are about 1.5 inches in length... is this too large for my 3 month (approx) ambilobe? Here is a pic of my baby in relation to the size of my fingers.

Can I also cut the mealworms in half (I still need them to wiggle a little and it sounds cruel to cut them but I will if I need to).

waaaaaay to big. You dont want the worm longer than the chams forearm. Your worm is as long as its body.

General rule of thumb for feeders (crickets/locusts etc.) is they should not be longer than the distance between the chams eyes. For worms it's the length of the chams head. Soft-bodied worms like silks can be a bit bigger :)

I recommend Phoenix Worms.. You won't regret it. You're cham will LOVE them. They're small, VERY active, and extremely high in calcium

worm size for 6 month Chameleon

I notice my Cham gets so defensive if I put any large size cricket or type of worm in his cage..Tje Reptile shop I go to say je shpuld gobble them up! I will try to upload a couple of pictures to shpw how he looks and size of hornworm..he does eat the little ones..
