Do you guys put mealworms in the fridge or just leave them at room temp in a bin? What are suggestions? I believe keeping them at room temp would allow them to be more lively for my Cham

Have always wondered this also. the container i biy them in says keep refridgerated. i personally dont and always end up with beetles in my container. ive put them in the fridge and it just slows them down along with the morphing process. hope some one can break this down a little further for us

I keep mine at room temp. They cant eat / be gutloaded if they are cold / dormant.

that said, if you have a lot and will take awhile to use them, keep some in the fridge (to slow them down, so that you dont end up with a bunch of beetles - although you can use the beetles as prey or keep them to make more mealworms) and keep the ones youre going to use in a weeks time out at room temp so you can gutload.
