Okay, So this week I ended up acquiring a couple new members. First was on Wednesday when I went into the pet store I buy my feeders and they had a sub adult Male Veiled that a Kid brought in earlier that day cause he didn't want it anymore. They put a price tag of $100 bucks for him but when I saw him and pointed out that he was pretty skinny and defiantly dehydrated she told me that she would let me have him for $40 if I thought I could fix him. So I took him. I had the extra setup ready, and I knew that he would end up withering away in those cages with only a 5" screen hole opening on the back (the rest was closed in)and maybe 1 misting a day max. I brought him home and took some shot of how he looked and here he is. Poor guy does not look happy...

I have been keeping him outside... And he seems to be loving it. He has made an obvious improvement in only 3 days.
Here he is after five 10 minute mist showers daily, as many crickets and dubias as he can eat, and 3 full days worth of beautiful sunshine.

I have always wanted to keep Jacksons and yesterday I got in contact with a guy in town who was getting out of the hobby and he sold me his beautiful Female! Here she is ... We named her Jackie Brown

Then I thought I would throw in some pics of my beautiful Female Veiled Caddie... She is growing so nicely and starting to show turquoise on her throat. I love her...

Awesome Chams you have! That is an incredible turn-around for that male. You saved his life!

Thanks Everyone:D... Possibly may consider breeding the Veileds sometime in the future... She is growing good but is at least another 4 months before I would consider matching her up. I really love his patterns and he may end up being a good breeder... I want to see if I can get this guy to beef out a little for me though first. He has been eating like crazy so I am hoping to see him put on a little more weight... But he is definitely loving me for all the water I am giving him... Hydration was his main issue, he loves when I get a spray bottle of hot water and I just spray his cage down for 10 minutes, He makes his way to the front of the cage and just takes the spray right in his face...looks like he is almost re hydrated... he loves it.

Yeah Jackie is awesome... She has a crazy grip.

Its so great that you saved his life! I'm sure he appreciates it. Your chameleons are gorgeous! Jackie is a beauty!
