Here's Hyde's new sibling Daiquiri. I've had him (maybe her) for about 2 months :)

Yeah he's (or she, I couldn't find much information about sexing them other than size) a fun little addition :) super exciting to watch him eat, and pretty hilarious because it's nowhere near as precise as chameleons eating.

I believe male pac man frogs have a certain pad on their front hands. They use the pads to grip onto the female while getting their jiggy on. I also think only males croak. look into strawberry pac man frogs. might help you track down specific colorations/morphs

Thank you! I was thinking Daiquiri might be a strawberry pac but wasn't sure because the colors aren't super vibrant yet. Do you have a specific site you like using for searching about pac stuff?

I dont, I spent a good amount of time jumping from site to site. Read a bunch about care, and morphs. Was interested in Samurai Pac Mans but felt the breeders were unreliable with genetics. I make sure I compare husbandry from different threads and sites before purchasing anything to make sure I can properly care for it. I know there are samurai, strawberry, apricot, albinos, and some that are split down the middle and have 2 morphs showing on 1 frog, I think they are called two-face. some are also identified by number of spots.

Yeah I have been also jumping from site to site, just felt like there wasn't as much info nor a specific forum for pacs. The samurais are cool, I was always partial to the strawberry pineapple and the pink fantasy morphs.

I could be wrong, but the nuptial pads may only appear when in breeding condition, that's how my frogs are. so an absence of pads is not definitive but a presence of them, is.

Adorable little poop factory!

Thank you! So far Daiquiri's favorite spot to poop is right in his water dish when he bathes 🤣

Cleaned out and did some rearranging of Daiquiri's cage today :) Couple new plants (alocacia and calathea added, already had an umbrella tree and a hoya) went in and a ceramic mushroom) :) and of course new moss.
