I love pygmys!!! that are so cool!! they kind of look like bark to me:rolleyes:....I love the stripe going down her side!! Very pretty!:p

Males are more, how shall i say "aerodynamic" ? lol. females a a little larger and dont have as prominent striping. Males also have that little dangely thing under their chin

Gotta love a description like "that little dangely thing under their chin".:D But hey I didn't even know they had anything under the chin.

I try :D

Their name makes it seem like they would have a santa beard or something, not just this little "thing" :p

Males and females have the beard (not just males)
"Lupita" is definitely a boy.
The shape of the body and coloring are good indicators, but the length of the tail is the way to tell.
Females have no tail to speak of and males have a longer tail.
Do you have any other pygmys? You need a nice harem of 3 or 4 ladies for (I shall call him) Lupito

I agree, Male all the way. Females are bland brown. Mails have longer tails, stripes, green on the eyes, and are more lean than tall.:)

very awesome pics though!

Lopez?

this is my first time keeping one.

I just bought 1 dollars worth of pinhead crickets. I heard you can raise your own mantis for them to eat. I think im going to try that as well.

can anyone identify this chameleon. The guy at the petstore said it was a temporalis (sp?). is this the species?
