Meet my new Warty Chamelon (Furcifer Verrucosus)

Congrats!!! And welcome to the forum. I love the name Yoshi altho I’m not very familiar with those, but he looks awesome (y)

When he isn't fired at all he looks like a grayish blob with almost no green. And I don't mind Yoshi it's just too common like Hulk for green reptiles.

And thanks,I have been around in the past but my two females passed so I didn't have a cham until now.

So I finally decided on naming him Shrek the Ogre.

I couldn't pick between the two.

Also he is calming down quickly, doesn't try to rip me up when I need to do his water adjustment or feeders.

He is pooping and coming out of the corner now and moving all around, only thing is he still isn't really eating yet.

Not surprised he's not eating yet. He's still feeling preoccupied by all the change and he's nervous. Don't handle him or fuss over his cage too much for the next week or so. He looks a bit dehydrated (his casque is pretty collapsed)...is he wc? Spend more effort on hydration for now.

I have been offering him fresh running water and misting religiously and the store owner said he is WC though he usually doesn't carry anything non captive bred.

And he is? I'm used to looking for wrinkles or sunken eyes, should I throw in a few extra mistings? Or just keep his humidity higher.

I like his new name !!! Mine didn’t eat for about 3 days so don’t worry about it :)
