Since their birth, I have received a barrage of PM's about the melleri babies, inquiries about their future sale, etc. and about getting put on a "list".
As one could imagine, I am quite busy just attending to all of the 42 mini-dragons' needs and keeping track of their health, etc., much less keeping up with all the rest of the reptiles... and those other things like a kid and a job...., that I have not had a chance to field all of these PM's. I just wanted to send one collective message to everyone to hopefully answer some of those questions.
#1. Thank you all very, very much for the well-wishes and congratulations. I really do appreciate it!!
#2. I am not concerning myself right now with any type of future sale. First thing's first. While each and every one of them came out of their egg like gangbusters (and I swear I could have seen tattoos on a couple of them and one of them was smoking...), that does not aleviate the need for me to be mostly concerned with their health and well-being and making sure they are off to a great start and healthy. I am going to have at least three(+) months of this before I can concern myself with their sale. I have taken great pride in the past of making sure all of my chams (and geckos) are the healthiest possible before they go to new owners and this is no exception (and especially these ones, for obvious reasons).
#3. If and when that time comes, I will address the issue at that time. I feel I need to mention that this "list" will be at my discretion. This has been an enormous project for me (time, effort, money and space) and thus, it will be at my discretion as to whom I feel will be able to properly care for these gems as they deserve the utmost care.
Thank you again for all of your well-wishes. They are just little darlings and I will continue to update on their progress.
