Glass enclosure...waterfall...heater. Ugh, I'm a noob when it comes to chams, and I even know better than this.

Its amazing how little knowledge most pet stores have about the creatures they carry. I was at a pet store yesterday that had 2 Veileds in the same glass tank together.

It depends on if it's a WC (which it more then likely is) or CH. I'm not sure with Canada's currency but that seems they are trying to sell the tank with a chameleon as an ornament .

It's certainly sad because I saw a similar situation in a store near me. In fact they had a juvenile veiled (maybe 3 months) with an almost full grown Chameleon in a small enclosure with a waterfall.

As Jessica said... depends on where it came form... CB are worth a bit more to some than CH and both CB/CH are worth two, almost four times that of a WC animal. You can get WC melleri for around $100 US. The last CB melleri I saw available went for $350 and I think that was a good price considering they don't come around very often. I picked up one of those CB and I got two CH melleri for $250 each almost three years ago.

Always assume they are WC... You can tell, unless the CB/CH melleri was kept in very bad conditions. CH melleri almost always have retained skin from poor sheds and look emaciated/dehydrated.

There is a petstore in Quebec city who sold some CB melleris, and i think they went around 200$ each, maybe 250$.

But like some people said before, Melleris are usually wild caught.

And by the way, US dollars and CAD dollars are almost even these days...

I saw that meller's too, if you thought the 60 gal was bad this cage was significantly smaller, although it was screen.
