I read on here a while back that a few people would do this once a month or so as a treat just to change up the diet, as well as baby birds i think. I once even read that someone watched their cham eat a humming bird once... As long as you aren't doing it more than once a month you should be O.K.
I was at the herp vet last week, they had the "care guides" the specifically "did" mention mice.. give them on occasion..
no mention of no D3, sooo... another conflict and this time not just at a "petstore"
I think as a rare boost, post laying, or perhaps a rare treat.. but really not a good choice as even in the wild where would a cham find a nursing rodent?? as a small nursning animal the amount of calcium in the bones is less.. also with a milk filled gut ( milk is acidic) as such you loose Calcium into your urine to process it.. so even with a belly full of milk, DONT think it is a good source of Ca.. fat, Protien, perhaps.. but not Ca..
A small lizard or small bird, but not a pinky or fuzzy.. would be more "natural" but as many cham owners do fine never offering these things..
Keep in mind the internet has a lot of info.. same with youtube.. but this is the same place you see people lighting farts.. also proof we have a base on the moon where alien secrets are shared
