Might be impacted :(

so i know impaction is a horrible thing for chameleons, this is why i want to get as much help as possible. Tree has not poop for about 3 days. I know that i freaked out about a month and a half ago because i seen her swallow a small piece of bark. since that time i took all the bark out and put a soft floor liner. She didn't have any signs after that, so i stopped worrying. But now i'm thinking this might be it. I am soaking her in warm water, giving her showers, and misting heavily. if there is any other things i can do please let me know. and if you want pictures i will post pictures.

How old is she? Three days isn't very long for even a subadult cham. Both mine are adults and have sometimes gone only once a week.

I don't think it would be from bark a month ago. It is possible that there is a poop in the enclosure somewhere and you just don't see it. Also, if still eating normally there is likely no issue, but I'd just monitor it to see if there is a problem.

she is going on 7 or 8 months old. i hope not i called my vets and told them the problem and said that if she hasn't gone by Monday or Tuesday i'm taking her. the only reason why i think she is impacted cause she looks like she is trying to poop but she cant. she looks like she is straining herself

What kind of worms do you have available? Silkworms and hornworms will work to lubricate her bowels. It's either that or you need to do a 30 minute shower every day and hope it helps.

Thanks i have regular feeders. Crickets and superworms. i gave her two showers today and the vet told me over the phone to soak her in luke warm water and let her do that for about 15mins.

I would stop the super worms for now if you can, though they do have a thinner she'll than meal worms they still are higher chitin.

yeah i keep hearing that but i have no hornworms lol. they are super expensive to be shipped to my address. i could go buy one hornworm from petsmart for like 7$
